About
Capri is an emerging female-fronted hard rock band from Burlington County in the Southern parts of the Garden State and we bring the raw power, a bold attitude, and an undeniable presence onstage. Formed in July of 2025, our soul purpose and absolute mission is to bring back the glory, energy, and respect of the nostalgic classic rock music from the past.
Since our humble beginnings, we have slowly became a pillar of the New Jersey Hard Rock Scene; playing venues such as The Stone Pony (Asbury Park), The Bitter End (New York City) and The Landis Theater (Vineland) in only 6 months.
Capri features Juliana Calabrese on vocals, Conor Brady and Will Stern on guitars, Ben Sexton on bass, and Skyler Kimball on drums. Together, we bring the heat to all of our live shows.
Our Sound
Our sound is encapsulated by a plethora of influence. Ranging from the classic rock of the 70’s and 80’s like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin to the grunge of the early 90’s such as Alice In Chains and Soundgarden to the newer hard rock bands such as Halestorm and Mammoth to even some of the more technical bands such as Metallica, Trivium, and Dream Theater. Our range of influences is diverse yet impactful and incredibly important to our overall sound.
Within a year, we have released a four song EP featuring three of our first originals that we wrote as a band. We are currently working on new songs that exceeds the bar that we have placed on ourselves when writing originals. Our originals are jam packed with empowering lyrics about hardship, regret, and distain that is backed up by intense riffs, epic, melodies and harmonies, bellowing baselines, and blasting drums that will knock you off your feet.
